Job Description
As an IT/Electrical Representative in Shillong, your role encompasses a range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of electronic devices and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install audio-video devices, IP devices, and automation devices.
- Programming and Maintenance: Conduct programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various devices, including cameras, Wi-Fi systems, and home automation systems.
- Electrical Supervision: Oversee electrical aspects of installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance activities.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to customers as needed.
- Technology Trends: Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in the IT and electrical fields to enhance service offerings.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify and understand site requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience in installing and maintaining electronic devices and systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant software and programming languages is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
