The Director of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Meghalaya has decided to conduct the Meghalaya TET Exam for the eligible candidates as per the official notification. The candidates who are eligible and willing to work as a teacher need to qualify the Meghalaya TET exam to participate in the upcoming TET recruitment. Eligibility Criteria of Meghalaya TET Exam
Residentship: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
Educational Qualification: The educational qualification criteria for Lower Primary and Upper Primary Meghalaya TET exam is different so we have provided that information in the below sections.
Lower Primary TET (Classes I to V)
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education
- Higher Secondary with at least 45% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Elementary Education
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of B.El.ED
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2 years of Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation with at least 50% Marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed
Upper Primary TET (Classes VI to VIII)
- Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% Marks and D.El.Ed/ B.Ed
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years of Bachelor in Elementary education (B.El.Ed)
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A/B.Sc. ED or B.A.ED/B.Sc.ED
- Graduation with 50% Marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special education)
