The Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) released notification to invites Online Applications from eligible candidates in a prescribed format to fill up the Project Assistant and Senior Project Associate positions for the Meghalaya Climate Change Centre (MOC) on a contractual basis.
1. Project Assistant
No of Post: 01
Place of Posting: Shillong
Upper age limit: 45 years
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Essential Qualification: Graduate in environmental management, commerce, business management, forestry, agriculture, or other related environmental subjects.
Experience:
(i) Preferably at least 01 (one) year of professional working experience
(ii) Experience in the provision of administrative services in any field, and either private or public sector, will be an advantage.
2. Senior Project Associate
No of posts: 1
Place of posting: Tura
Upper age limit: 45 years.
Salary: Rs. 42,000/- per month
Essential Qualification: Desired Qualification: Post Graduate (Master) in Climate Studies, Development Studies, Environmental, and Natural Resource Management or related fields with significant work in the field of Climate Change.
Experience:
(i) Minimum of 04 years of professional working experience on long-term Technical Projects in Climate Change, and its related sectors.
(ii) Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of project design, good coordination of multi-disciplinary project teams, and computational skills.
(iii) Knowledge of climate change issues/ climate change modeling/ climate change impact assessment/ climate policy/ climate resilience/ adaptation.
